About the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame

The Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame (MAHF) was established in 1976 to honour the historical contributions of innovators and leaders involved with agriculture in Manitoba. MAHF actively seeks to preserve the heritage that has shaped our province’s past and ultimately our future.

Mission Statement
To recognize and honour innovators, leaders and visionaries for their contribution to agriculture in Manitoba.

Objective
The  Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame exists to formally and publicly recognize people who, in the course of their residence in Manitoba, have made outstanding contributions to the improvement of agriculture and the betterment of rural living in the province.

Honouring the past, supporting the future

MAFH is managed by the Red River Exhibition Association. We are proud to extend the legacy of the hall of fame honourees by supporting the next generating of agricultural innovators in Manitoba through the Red River Exhibition Foundation.

Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame

The MAHF is modeled after the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame.  The mission of the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame is to honour and celebrate Canadians for outstanding contributions to the agriculture and food industry, and to publicize the importance of their achievements to Canadians.
