The Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame Scholarship is administered by the Red River Exhibition Foundation and is awarded in recognition of the Hall of Fame inductees’ contribution to agriculture in Manitoba.

Value:  $1,000

Criteria:
A Manitoba resident, actively involved in a farming operation
First year student entering agriculture or a related program of study at a Manitoba university or an accredited college

Applications must contain:

  • Name, address, city, province, postal code, telephone number, email
  • Proof of successful completion of last level of education
  • Proof of acceptance to an agriculture or related programs
  • Letters of reference/recommendation from at least two people (teacher, employer, community leader)
  • A resumé, including education, employment and volunteer, community and school activities
  • A one page vision-essay describing:
    • Your current involvement in a farming operation
    • Your interests in the industry
    • Why you chose this area of study
    • How you plan to be involved in the agriculture industry in the future

Deadline:  4:30 p.m. Second Friday in May
